Penguins

Special winter edition lazy friends! They were originally made as a custom order for a wedding photography studio, surprisingly named "Penguin Studio", but will also soon be available in a mobile or a shadow box at the shop.

Wishing a happy, warm and cozy holiday to all Lazy Animals friends and followers!

Sweet and happy new Jewish year!

Three New Friends

Some pics for those of you who are not following my facebook page yet. These guys are available now here, here, and here, and will soon be available in couples and sets along with a shadow box home, or a hanging mobile.

I am working on a few more friends - a unicorn, an otter, and finally a sloth - the original 'lazy animal'. Hopefully some of these will also be featured here soon! Any other suggestions for new animals from my darling blog readers will be warmly considered!

When You're a Dog

These guys are going to be starring in a music video! A very special collaboration which I am so excited to be taking part in. More details soon!

Four bears and a Camera

New accessory for the bear family - a tiny felted camera! Get them here.

Greetings

Thank you for following and supporting!

Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

New Friend

I Never thought of making a puppy before. Somehow it seemed too cute, too obvious, until I was asked to make one for a customized Christmas ornament. When he was complete I looked in his eyes and knew he had to be adopted by the Lazy Animals family! He is available now at my shop. Wouldn't you adopt one?

3rd Birthday

We're celebrating our boy's 3rd birthday tomorrow, so I'm thinking he is probably big enough to have his own set of Lazy Animals. Whenever he sees me knitting or packing them, he always wants to know if I am making them for him. So this time I am. I made a little shelf for them, which I plan to hang by his bed. I hope they will be good friends for him, and also keep scary wolves and elephants away from his bed at night.

Ready to Go!

All dressed up and ready to go! These guys have all begun their journey to NY. Hopefully they will all enjoy their new homes. l

The new winner of the bear and bunny giveaway is Ofer Aderet! Congratulations!f

In the Making

Some unfinished friends, for Oliver & Adelaide, a mysterious one of a kind experience. Can't wait for the launching of their site.h

More pics coming soon, when they are all completed. Also, since I have not heard from Yael, the winner of this giveaway, I will pick a new winner in a few days, unless she turns up!h

Thimble Flowerpots

These are thimbles turned into miniature flowerpots to decorate my finger puppets' new homes. The "homes" are upcycled sewing boxes, so using thimbles seemed like a good idea, that fitted the homes as well as their dwellers. The inspiration for them came from these wonderful miniature flowerpots by Sabine Timm, combined with the poetic, delicate works by Noa Lidor.h

Here is  an example of how they look in their natural habitat: m
